Nigel Wearden has a wide experience of pensions, investments and taxation issues, and provides advice on these matters to individuals, companies and partnerships. Having worked extensively in the financial sector, he now feels he has found his niche within the company, where he enjoys providing bespoke financial solutions to suit his clients’ circumstances and attitudes to risk.

Nigel began his financial planning career in the 1990s with Britannic, having previously run his own business, before studying History and Economics at the University of Warwick as a mature student.

Many years of experience with companies of all sizes have developed in him a strong preference for those which operate on a smaller scale, believing them to be more efficient and less bureaucratic, and favouring the opportunities they bring of providing a higher level of personal service and building up long term relationships with clients.

Nigel was afforded such opportunities when he joined Philip T English International Financial Services Limited in 2006, and has since concentrated on providing advice for retirement planning, investments, inheritance, taxation, business partnerships and succession.

In his spare time, Nigel enjoys fly fishing on the rivers Usk and the Wye; walking in the Brecon Beacons and Yorkshire; and generally spending time with his family.
