Bill Wiggin MP is a non-executive director of the company, which involves dealing with clients on a personal basis. He also advises on company strategy and development.

The company and its clients benefit from his experience gained through his Parliamentary career in the House of Commons which spanned more than a decade and his extensive business experience in the City of London’s financial sector.

Bill Wiggin’s business career began with trading in commodities, currency and bullion, gaining experience working in Europe, Asia and Africa. Whilst at Commerzbank, he was also appointed Political Advisor to the Treasury Department in 2001, the same year he was elected to Parliament.

In 2003 Bill was appointed Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs with responsibility for environmental policy. Bill was promoted by Michael Howard to shadow Secretary of State for Wales, a role he held through the 2005 General Election.

When David Cameron became leader Bill returned to the Shadow DEFRA team between 2005 and 2009 with responsibility for agriculture, fishing and biodiversity. Bill went on to become a whip both in Opposition and then in Government, with responsibility for departments including Education, Climate Change, Local Government and Transport.

In 2008 Bill was the first politician to win the Countryside Alliance Westminster Award for his work on the environment and agriculture.

He is a Trustee of the Eveson Charitable Trust, which allocates funds to charities for the disadvantaged, disabled and medical research. Bill is patron of many local charities in his constituency.

Educated at Eton, Bill read pure Economics at the University College of North Wales; he held a TA commission in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. His interests are farming, breeding Hereford cattle, cider, motorcycles and country sports.
